Try different soaps and see if that helps. Next would be any makeup or lotions you use. Many times the stuff we put on the skin is the real problem. Then, what type of moisturizer you are using or not using. Dry skin can cause acne. Don't use if you have oily skin. Next would be the types of food you eat. Dairy being one that can cause you to break out.

For a recurring or severe case of acne, many sufferers turn to a dermatologist for a more aggressive treatment and in most cases, a prescribed routine and medication can help to treat acne. In most cases, a follow-up visit will be scheduled so that the doctor may monitor the patient's progress and determine whether additional steps should be taken to treat the problem. Cleanliness is important, especially beneath the fingernails where germs and bacteria can be found and infect the already sensitive skin condition by scratching.
