Then, what type of moisturizer you are using or not using. Dry skin can cause acne. Don't use if you have oily skin. Next would be the types of food you eat. Dairy being one that can cause you to break out.
For a recurring or severe case of acne, many sufferers turn to a dermatologist for a more aggressive treatment and in most cases, a prescribed routine and medication can help to treat acne. In most cases, a follow-up visit will be scheduled so that the doctor may monitor the patient's progress and determine whether additional steps should be taken to treat the problem. Cleanliness is important, especially beneath the fingernails where germs and bacteria can be found and infect the already sensitive skin condition by scratching.
The problem comes about because most people do not realize that bacteria and germs cannot normally be seen by the naked eye and they believe if their nails look clean they are safe. Therefore any contact between an acne sufferer's hands and affected areas should be avoided if possible.
Research has shown that if your parents had acne, you'll probably have it as well and very few people have perfect skin, so it is a very common skin disorder among almost every single person. In the vast majority of acne cases though, it is caused by the transition from a child to an adult and the changes that take place during this period.
