As teenagers many of us dealt with acne. However it may also affect us as adults. The primary area affected by acne is the face. However, it can affect many other areas of the body as well. It is very popular and has been around for many, many years. Tiny crystals are used with crystal microdermabrasion to exfoliate the skin. These crystals are blasted onto small areas using very high amounts of pressure.

Another type of microdermabrasion uses a diamond tipped wand to clear the negative affects of acne. During treatment these wands are glided over the skin, resulting in smooth skin. This method is a newer method than the crystal method and is believed to provide a superior way to restore the original condition of the skin.

It doesn't matter what type of treatment you would like to use to counteract the negative affects that acne has taken on your skin. Just know that microdermabrasion for acne procedures are the best.
