Skin and Beauty Ideas

Some people are more fortunate than others when it comes to how good their skin looks but good skin care is not a secret art. Part of the problem with many women is the need for immediate results, always expecting the cosmetic surgeon to save the day using invasive procedures that often end in failure. Of course the greatest benefit of today's beauty care products is they only cost a fraction of traditional cosmetic surgery but can really provide a much more natural look.
The days of cold creams and the like are over with modern formulations light years ahead of what they once were. The importance of our skin cannot be stressed enough and like other areas of our body, requires a little care and attention.
The first step in skin care is making sure your skin is clean as pollution like dust, bacteria and make-up all take their toll, so the skin must be clean. To do this requires a gentle cleanser which must be used with cotton wool pads moving the wetted pads in a circular motion around the face until all areas have been done then once you have washed with warm water, use a soft towel to dab your skin until it is dry.
Each person's skin has its own pH balance and if you use a toner once you have cleansed your skin, it will re-establish your natural PH balance. To reduce the number of wrinkles and help make your skin soft and supple, use moisturizing creams or lotions once you have finished with the skin toner. Moisturizing beauty care products ensure that all the work you have just carried out to clean, tone and condition your skin does go to waste.
Each week, at least once, and as part of your skin care regime you should exfoliate the skin to remove dead cells which will help provide a deeper cleanse. You must not forget however, that when you carry out this exfoliation you make sure that you continue with a complete cleanse and tone afterwards. This can also help in preparation for a spray tan.
For those people that suffer with puffy or baggy skin below the eyes, formulated beauty care product creams are able to help alleviate this problem making the skin much suppler and improving its elasticity. An underestimated but an essential commodity is water which can flush out toxins and which helps to hydrate the skin. We often forget how much we rely on but take our skin for granted but if it becomes damaged it can lead to all sorts of problems.

Spray tans have become the number one way for people to keep that year round tanned look. It is the number of cases of skin cancer caused by too much exposure to the sun that has led to this rise in alternative but safer methods. The quickest and fast becoming the preferred method of having a fake tan is by using a spray tanning salon service. There are many fake tan creams available but a spray gives a much more even looking tan and is less likely to cause streaking.
Although the popularity is still to be proved, systems using the new spray tanning technology have been designed for home use. Regardless of the method you choose there are a few basic steps to follow to ensure that you get the best results possible. To ensure a good clean body surface to work with, you will need to remove any dead skin by exfoliation. This can stop the situation where dead skin cells gradually drop off leaving paler patches of skin which immediately tells people you have a fake tan.
Once that stage has been completed, the body needs to be moisturized all over. Secondly, you always want to wear gloves if you are applying the tanning agent yourself to avoid getting the dreaded orange palms which are a dead give away that your tan is fake.
Another tip, often ignored or forgotten, is to ensure that only a light coat is applied to the backs of the hands, feet and the joints as they show up darker and let everyone know that you have used a lotion or cream. When a spray tanning system is used a towel will be needed to wipe off any excess which could cause a streak.
Always stay as still as possible after artificial tanning to allow time for the application to settle down and create an even coating. Consider what you are going to wear once you have applied the fake tan as it tends to stain objects, in particular clothing. The best advice here is to have a change of clothing that is darker than the color of the tan as this way it will not notice. Armed with this information it should be easier to have a fake tan that is safe and available all year round without anyone knowing what it is you are doing.
