As usual, a good article which effectively summarizes the what and how of mole removal. It seems that removal of moles by a doctor or dermatologist will set you back several hundred dollars per visit, and as you point out, some treatments may not be permanent.

Home treatments are certainly much cheaper, but some of the more effective ones use quite strong and corrosive plant products. I think it is essential to read and follow the instructions very carefully to make sure its just the mole and not surrounding skin is being destroyed.
