Quick Tips On Natural Skin Care

Filed under: Face Skin Care — Roberta @ 12:15 pm

Is your shelf filled with thousand skin products bought from the pharmacy? On the second thought, have you tried natural skin care products? Such a surprise but you can actually make your own natural skin care products that are probably just as good as any commercial product from the things available in your pantry. As a bonus, using natural skin care techniques means that you’re not applying artificial chemicals to your face, such as fragrances, dyes, preservatives, and these other elements that you find in so many products. Try some of these natural skin care techniques and products.

Initially, much of your skin’s health and appearance depend on what you’re doing to take care of yourself overall. Drinking plenty of water is a big part of natural skin care. Consider this - the body uses its own hydration and moisture for everything in the system first, giving skin whatever leftover moisture it has at the very last. A few sips of water here and there are going to be enough; you need to keep your entire body hydrated before you skin gets any moisture, so drink up!

When it comes to natural skin care, exercise is also vitally important. This is so because the body uses oxygen as a healing agent for the skin. Someone with severe skin wounds or burns is often put in an oxygen chamber. The body gets oxygen not through the lungs but through the blood which brings oxygen to very cell through the circulatory system. Since oxygen is a healing agent for the skin and important to natural skin care, when you exercise you’re increasing that blood circulation so the skin is getting that healing oxygen more often. This helps the skin to repair damaged cells and whisk away dead cells and other elements that make the skin look unhealthy and dull. The blood also plays an important role in good skin care since it delivers nutrients and elements like vitamins, minerals, and amino acids which are also important in skin’s health and appearance and the skin gets these things through the blood. When you’re physically active you’re increasing both the amount of blood and the amount of oxygen your skin gets, which often does more good for your skin than any natural skin care products you can try.

Drinking and exercise can also be coupled with facials and masks. A lifetime women’s favorite natural skin care simple mask is of honey and oatmeal made into a paste. The honey moisturizes while the oatmeal cleans and exfoliates. Eggs, avocado, cucumber, plain yogurt, and vitamin E oil are also good ingredients you can try to make up your own natural skin care products and masks.

Way to your pantry and make one!

Beauty Treatments Increase Well-being And Reduce Stress

Filed under: Anti-Aging Skin Care — Roberta @ 8:04 pm

Looking and feeling your best begins with sound beauty and relaxation practices. If you think visiting a day spa or having a beauty treatment is a luxury designed for other women, think again. Many people are finding they think better, get more done and feel great once they start taking care of themselves with a little pampering.

Let’s face it - looks matter. They’re important when it comes to making that all-important first impression whether interviewing for a new job or meeting your future in-laws for the first time. More importantly, looking your best influences your self confidence. You’re likely to perform better because you believe in yourself.

Anti-Aging Skin Care

Keeping your skin moist, firm and wrinkle-free is one way to look great. Most women think about implementing an anti aging program only when they begin to see those dreaded signs of aging - the onset of fine lines and wrinkles, increased dryness in the skin and maybe even some weight gain or the development of a double chin.

Well, it doesn’t have to be that way if you take steps when you’re younger to prevent premature aging. Start as soon as possible - like right now if you haven’t already - and decide that you’ll cleanse your face morning and night with a facial cleanser designed for your skin type. Also use moisturizers and other products to enhance or correct you current skin situation. This will be different for everyone so if you’re unsure or have a particular skin problem, have a visit with your dermatologist for specific guidance.

Stay Lean And Minimize Cellulite

By getting or staying in shape and keeping your body fat percentage at an acceptable level, you’ll reduce your chances of health complications as you get older. On a purely cosmetic level, you’ll lessen the effect of cellulite dimpling on the skin that often makes women lose confidence in themselves. While a minimal amount of skin irregularity is usually not of much consequence, severe cases due to genetics or excess fat can cause quite a bit of distress.

Because everyone responds differently and there are various reasons certain people develop the condition, cellulite reduction will vary from person to person. Many opt for natural remedies combined with diet and exercise and usually see good results. Because the condition is typically not medically threatening, cosmetic surgery and invasive procedures are not recommended by many experts.

Whether your beauty issue is related to reducing cellulite, getting rid of wrinkles or simply enjoying a relaxing day at the spa with a menu of treatments, start to see its remedy as a necessity rather than a luxury. By taking some time for yourself, you’ll not only improve your life but also that of everyone around you.
