Acne is a common inflammatory skin disease characterized by pimples on the face, chest, and back. It occurs when the pores of the skin become clogged with oil, dead skin cells, and/or bacteria. Acne is most common during adolescence, affecting more than 85% of teenagers, and frequently continues into adulthood. For most people, acne diminishes over time and tends to disappear—or at the very least decrease—after one reaches his or her early twenties. There is, however, no way to predict how long it will take to disappear entirely, and some individuals will continue to suffer well into their thirties, forties and beyond.

The face and upper neck are the most commonly affected, but the chest, back and shoulders may have acne as well. The upper arms can also have acne, but lesions found there are often keratosis pilaris, not acne.

Olive Leaf Extract work for At Home Acne Treatment

Olive Leaf extract can, among others, kill viruses within the cell by interacting with their amino acid producing syndrome while preventing shedding of viruses within the cell body. It can also penetrate infected cells, inhibiting the growth of viruses, thereby arresting the spread of the disease condition.

Apart from its association with many beneficial and healthful activities, Olive Leaf extract has adequate control over Candida, molds and other harmful bacteria that are mostly coupled with chronic acne sufferers. These microorganisms usually affect some of the body's natural organs of elimination, particularly the liver with the result that harmful toxins like 'mycotoxins' produced by them are no more expelled properly. This affects the system dually - the body is deprived of nutrients because of the tainted liver on one hand while the toxic buildup in the body goes up on the other. Acne, as we know, thrives on imbalanced hormone secretion and accumulation of toxins in the blood and lymph glands. Olive Leaf extract comes as a great savior in both the respects.

The powerful antiviral and antifungal properties of the Olive Leaf extract, as earlier demonstrated, can kill microorganisms like the Candida, thereby preventing the production of 'mycotoxins' that are detrimental to both toxic elimination and hormonal regulation, a vital issue in curing acne.

In addition, the Olive Leaf extract has the power to break up the external lining of the acne bacteria and destroying it then and there, thus putting an end to the spread of this distressing disease condition. As an extra bonus inherent to the friendly herbal remedy, infectious microorganisms like Candida can never get a chance to develop any resistance to it, thanks to the Olive Leaf Extract's natural flavinoids

Reputed to perform satisfactorily with other herbal acne treatment medications, if necessary and possessing the power to kill acne aggravating bacteria along with the ability of arresting harmful effects of yeasts (Candida),molds, etc, Olive Leaf extract may be considered as the number one at home acne treatment formulation.

Imagine how could clear skin convert your attitude? Instead of wasting lots of bucks, first you need to read about acne and its treatment acne and acne types

Skin is a real wealth. It responds much better to natural oils and lubricants than it does to cosmetics holding petrochemicals and artificial substances. The skin is also the biggest excretion organ, eradicating bodily waste through its pores. The skin takes a beating from the natural mechanism of sun, wind and rain every day. Skin care is the attention of the skin. Skin needs several extra help to stay young and healthy looking as we evolve older. Natural skin care is the care of the skin using naturally-derived elements confederated with naturally happening carrier agents, preservatives, surfactants, humectants and emulsifiers.

Natural skin care methods may seem hard to find, or too overwhelming to decide which is best for your skin. You wander the aisles trying to figure out which ones are real skin care solutions. You try cucumbers or tea bags over your eyes, and other recipes and advice from friends, but none of their skin care solutions are working for you. Skin is one of the most sensitive organs in our body, thus, we should keep it healthy to prevent any skin disease or irritations. There are many skin treatments as well as skin products to help you in maintaining your skins’ health. However, when not carefully picked, the skin care products can cause you some side effects such as allergic, irritations, or even infections. These side effects are cause by the abnormal reaction of your skin towards certain chemical materials on the products. Therefore it is suggested to use natural skin care to lessen the risk of getting those side effects. Natural skin care is basically skin care product which includes natural ingredients. They do not contain any chemical compound thus reducing the possibility of developing irritation or allergic reaction when applied to your skins.

Your selection of a natural skin care treatment should be based on 3 factors. First one is the skin type (dry, oily, normal, sensitive) of the person who will use that natural skin care product. The second is the climatic circumstances in which it will be used e.g. hot and humid condition would warranty the use of oil-free natural skin care products. The last factor is the method for application/use of the natural skin care product. A good natural skin care product (in fact any product) can seem useless if not used in the proper way.

It is sure that having healthy skin means making healthy choices. Given the increasingly hostile environment our skin is exposed to, our longevity and value of appearances, preserving a good skin care regime is definitely a good choice to make. Using only natural skin care treatments in your daily skin care regime is an even better one.

Treatment Acne

Acne is a skin disease that affects many people today. People think that acne affects only teenagers but this just isn’t so. Acne plays no favorites and it can strike even adults who may have thought they were way past an acne outbreak. The causes of this skin problem are many but it involves inflammation of hair follicles and oil producing glands that are present in the skin.

Acne Medicines

Because acne usually appears on the face, neck, chest, back, and shoulders, it is almost always noticeable and hard to keep concealed. Its appearance at the most inopportune times are one of the reasons teens and young adults dread looking in the mirror. This disease unfortunately is at its worst during adolescence or teen years. Researchers believe that hormones play a large part as to why it is during this time that acne makes its appearance. Some also say that acne can be hereditary so if your mom and dad suffered with acne, chances are you may too. Teenagers who have acne don’t really care about how or why it happened they just want to know how to get rid of it. There are millions of people who would love to get that magic silver bullet that just blasts acne away forever.

Acne Cures

Mild acne may be treated with over the counter medications as well as with frequent skin washing and good skin care. You don’t want to pick at your acne because this can lead to scarring and skin infections. Even if the zits are annoying, leave them alone and they will go away faster. Some people use compresses and leave these in place on acne-affected areas for 15-30 minutes. They use compresses 3-4 times a day. The compresses can be made from clean cotton pads that have had a little witch hazel applied. You can even use lavender oil on the compress. These natural herbs are often very helpful in diminishing the zits of acne.

If treatment at home is not effective or you have severe acne, you may want to contact a dermatologist. Dermatologist treatments can range from an oral antibiotic or topical cream to hormonal treatments. Some prescribed medications can be very effective but carry serious side effects. Another treatment method can be found with the small handheld electronic devices that are available. These are battery operated and deliver a tiny current to the acne zit that will kill the bacteria and clear up the infection in 24-48 hours. These devices cost about $100 but they do work.

Psoriasis Skin Disorders – How To Cope

Filed under: Skin Disorders — Roberta @ 12:36 pm

There are many skin disorders that can afflict the human body but there is one in particular that can cause great pain and suffering for the afflicted person. That disorder is psoriasis. It not only causes great discomfort and irritation to the skin but it can also affect other parts of the body and mind as well. The worst part about having psoriasis is that there is no cure for the disease and this can lead to even further complications.

What causes psoriasis is not yet known. Most scientists have come to believe that it could be hereditary. They do know that it is not contagious. The psoriasis medication is used to control outbreaks and help alleviate some of the secondary symptoms of the disease. It is important to understand that psoriasis cannot be cured at this point in time. Researchers are struggling to find a cure but as of yet the cure is not within the grasp of scientists and the medical community. Sufferers know that though they may experience a remission of the disease, it will reoccur and only through psoriasis medication and treatment can it be somewhat controlled.

The psychological issues accompanying skin disorders can be many and profound. Most people with psoriasis report that they feel embarrassed by their skin disease and try to do their best to cover it up. A loss in self-esteem and depression occurs and it just seems to perpetuate the idea that they are unattractive when in reality this is not true.

Unlike cures for acne and other skin problems, the Psoriasis skin disorder treatment ranges from topical ointments to photochemotherapy. Doctors attempt to begin the skin care of sufferers with creams and ointments before going on to more invasive remedies. For some patients the ointments do work but for some it takes a combined attack of ointments, phototherapy and photochemotherapy to rid themselves of the skin lesions and the build up of plaque psoriasis creates on the skin.

Skin disorders are not something that people set out to have. It begins to shape their lives as they struggle to cope with the skin disease. Hopefully, sometime in the near future the cause of psoriasis will be known and attempts can then be made at finding a total cure that will rid the sufferers of the skin condition completely, without the worry that it will reappear. Until that time, sufferers will have to patiently wait it out and try to alleviate the symptoms.
