Some of the packaging may not be glamorous but they have all been tested and each of these products will deliver on their claims.
Here we go...
This stuff is oh-my-gawd amazing! It's a fact of life that our feet need TLC but not everyone has the time or cash to hit the nail salon every week to keep their feet looking their best. Enter in Kerasal Intensive Foot Repair. I was introduced to this miracle cream by a dermatologist and it is my holy grail for foot cream now. When they say on the package that you will see visible results after one use that is the TRUTH!
Tip: For best results rub this cream on your feet as soon as you get out of the shower and immediately toss on some cotton socks. This helps lock in the moisture from your shower.
This essence is a total dupe for the SK-II Treatment Essence (which runs upwards of $100). Both of these essences have Galactomyces as their active ingredient which is a fermented yeast that has helps with everything from skin moisture, elasticity, sebum control and wrinkles. This essence should be your first skin care step in your morning and night time skin care routine.
Tip: Immediately after applying to your face use your favorite moisturizer to help maximize the benefits and keep your skin super soft.
Lets have a little chemistry lesson. While any vitamin c serum is better than nothing, vitamin c needs a "special sauce" to really function at a highly beneficial state. That sauce is made up for a perfect ratio of vitamin c, ferulic acid and vitamin e with an optimal ph. This is otherwise referred to as the "sweet spot" that allows vitamin c to really work its magic. This is a near perfect dupe for SkinCeuticals C E Ferulic serum (which costs about $140).
Tip: Use vitamin c at night when your skin can really reap the benefits while your repairs itself during sleep.
This specific CeraVe Retinol Serum features an encapsulated retinol, licorice root extract (which has been shown to help soothe skin), and three ceramides (these are key ingredients to maintaining a healthy skin barrier). I've found this to be a great starter retinol because it wont irritate your skin.
Tip: Don't get this teal colored bottle confused with their Skin Renewing Retinol Serum (in the dark blue bottle). The blue bottle is great for fine lines and features hyaluronic acid, but the teal bottle is made specifically for post-acne marks, skin texture and large pores.
Before we dive in to this one, if anyone is still using the St. Ives apricot scrub on their face, please please please throw it out your window right now! Okay, moving on to a way better daily facial scrub. This microfoliant face scrub is made from a rice based powder that activates when you mix it with water. It's super gentle on the skin, is made to use daily and with the added salicylic acid it really helps clean out those pores.
Tip: Pour the powder in your hand and just add a few drops of water then mix. You're aiming for a paste consistency not a watered down consistency.
This is seriously like a face plumbing trip to the dermatologists office in a bottle. It boosts beneficial peptides and organic hyaluronic acid to create a serious wrinkle and anti-aging serum that boosts collagen. This is also perfect to micro-needle with (more on that in a future article.)
Tip: Grab the big bottle and use it all over your body immediately after you shower. This will plump your skin, make it super smooth and also lock in all that moisture from the shower into your skin.
This mask features skin loving cactus extract and prickly pear seed oil to help restore skin health while you sleep. This stuff smells a-m-a-z-i-n-g and when I wake up in the morning my skin is noticeably plumped and baby butt soft.
Tip: I use this twice a week on my whole face but I use it every night under my eyes to help with fine lines and wrinkles.
